I would like to share with you my experience with the adware program Epswad4. Before I begin I would like to clear up what exactly adware is. I found out from research that adware is a program written specifically to flood you with ads. In most cases, these ads take the form of pop-up ads. In many cases there is an information gathering element that will collect information on the web sites you visit, and in some cases your personal information as well.
I do not know how I became infected with Epswad4. I just know one day I started getting pornographic pop-ups. It did not matter if I was online or not for these pop-ups to happen. I had to find out what happened, so I hit the Internet and did some research. I discovered that Epswad4 could cause conflicts, hardware crashes, and complete system crashes. Needless to say, I was alarmed at that information.
So I went to add/remove programs and tried to uninstall Epswad4. The pop-ups stopped until I rebooted. Then the pop-ups were back, as if they had never gone away. I had to find a way to remove Epswad4.
I did some more research and found that I needed to get an anti-spyware program to remove Epswad4. I did some digging to find the right one and found out that most anti-spyware programs only remove 80-90% of an infection. This can leave you still infected if you get the wrong one. That wasn't good enough for me. I wanted something I could be sure of.
Then I came across http://www.spyzooka.com/spyware-removal-guarantee.htm, a program that guarantees 100% removal. Not only does SpyZooka give that guarantee, but has several awards to back up that claim. I downloaded, installed, and ran SpyZooka and my pop-ups went away. An added bonus of having SpyZooka installed and running is it protects me from future infections by preventing them from taking hold. If you don't want to take my word for it, take a look at all the awards SpyZooka has won for being a superior anti-spyware program.
