NocsBar is Unwanted Adware

If you are reading this article, you may suspect that you have been victimized by adware programs such as NocsBar. Adware software is usually installed on your pc without your consent, and should be removed as quickly as possible. With the growth of the internet, more and more people are becoming susceptible to these malicious programs. What kind of problems can they cause?

Adware software such as NocsBar is also known as advertising software. These types of programs usually display third-party advertising on your pc through pop-ups, banners and embedded links. These ads are frequently based on your browsing habits. Your online activities are often tracked, so that the ads displayed to you are relevant to your searches.

What other risks are associated with adware? The stability of your computer can be affected, resulting in slow performance, freezing, and a changing homepage among other things. Since these software programs can sometimes gain access to your personal business information and passwords, the best solution is to eliminate them. How is that done?

Anti-spyware software is designed for such problems. These programs work by scanning your computer, locating malicious viruses and other security threats, and removing them. There are many programs available, some more effective than others. Some software programs only remove a portion of the threats, which means you must purchase another program and hope it will complete the task.

There are also software programs that advertise aggressively to you, warning you of security threats, viruses and other parasites. Most of these are fakes, so don't make the mistake of giving them your money. You won't get results, and in fact may experience more security problems.

What can you do to remove adware software such as NocsBar with only one scan? Find a top-rated antispyware solution that guarantees 100% removal – the first time.

EliteMediaGroup – Not on My Watch

Today I am going to share information that I have come up with from my research. Before we get started, I want to make sure we are on the same page with the term "adware." Adware is a kind of program that was created to deliver advertising to you and, in some cases, gather information about you and your browsing habits from your computer. Adware programs hog your computer’s resources and are responsible for the countless pop-up ads you receive. Adware is usually bundled with freeware programs such as alerts, weather, toolbars, screen savers, etc.

Like most adware EliteMediaGroup comes in a bundle. When you install the program you wanted to download and install EliteMediaGroup installs. When you connect to the Internet you will be flooded with pop-ups. This takes up bandwidth and slows down your Internet speeds. EliteMediaGroup will also run in the back ground, hiding from discovery and hogging system resources. This can slow your computer’s speed to a crawl.

You will obviously want to remove it if you have it on your computer, but going about removal is not as simple as going to Add/Remove Programs and uninstalling it. If you try to uninstall EliteMediaGroup you will find on system reboot that it is back, as if you never tried to uninstall it. To actually remove adware programs like EliteMediaGroup you have to get an anti-spyware program. Anti-spyware programs remove adware, spyware, Trojans, and other malware these days. This sounds like a simple task, but you haven’t taken into account that most anti-spyware programs only remove 80-90% of the infection, leaving files behind that can allow the adware to reinstall itself as if nothing happened. Therefore, you need an anti-spyware program that will remove the entire infection.

Such a program does exist. SpyZooka gives you a 100% removal guarantee, and happens to be the only program on the market to give you that guarantee. SpyZooka is not just talk. SpyZooka has the awards to back up its claims, and is easy to use as well.

Protect Your Computer From BridgeWinFavorites

BridgeWinFavorites is another version of adware. You don’t want it on your computer because it will only cause you trouble. If you have already been infected with BridgeWinFavorites, then get rid of it as soon as possible.

Adware like BridgeWinFavorites is responsible for pop up ads. You know-- those annoying little windows that pop up with advertisements for this and that. Or sometimes the pop ups are false warning messages that try to pressure you into buying some rogue program that only further infects your computer. Other times adware like BridgeWinFavorites will change your browser’s home page to whatever website it has been programmed to promote.

Advertising isn’t the only thing that BridgeWinFavorites does though. As a result of BridgeWinFavorites’ work to try to advertise to you, it slows down your computer. Not only does BridgeWinFavorites watch your computer habits, but it also keeps a record of that information. It is this information that BridgeWinFavorites transmits secretly over the Internet.

Since BridgeWinFavorites can connect to the Internet without you noticing, it is capable of something terrible that makes pop ups seem pleasant. While connected to the Internet, BridgeWinFavorites can download other spyware onto your computer and install it. BridgeWinFavorites doesn’t necessarily always do this, but it can, and if it does, then you have a whole new problem on your hands.

In order to secure your computer against spyware and adware properly, you need to install a quality anti-spyware program. Avoid free anti-spyware programs because many of them have more spyware packed in with them. This would only make your spyware problem worse.

Instead, look for an anti-spyware program that is legitimate. A good sign would be if the anti-spyware company has a membership with the Better Business Bureau. Then you would know that you could trust them. Also be sure to look for a 100% guarantee of spyware removal. If an anti-spyware program doesn’t have this guarantee, then it isn’t worth downloading. Computer safety is important, so find the best in computer protection available.

A No Win Situation With WinComm

Are you trying to find more information on WinComm? Has it appeared out of nowhere on your computer files? WinComm was a software communications companion that was developed in the mid 90s. Later on, products with similar names were issued as adware and Trojans. Today, WinComm is commonly known as aggressive software used by 3rd party advertisers.

If you have your firewalls up and your anti-virus program on, you still won't be able to catch WinComm. It is cleverly hidden. Most of the time, people innocently mistake it as a cookie. Some cookies are useful tools that help you navigate through sites that you commonly use. They will remember passwords and pages you have browsed so you can find the things you are looking for more easily.

Adware works a little bit differently but under the same principle. The program tracks all your information by placing a small file on your computer that watches all the moves you make while online. Adware is like a cookie without any morals or ethics. A cookie will track only the information that helps you. Adware tracks the all your information, so they can help themselves.

WinComm sells your private information to 3rd party advertisers. These advertisers are known for doing a number of dirty deeds from stealing identity, draining bank accounts, or just annoying you with tons of spam. You should remove it immediately. It is possible to remove it manually but that may take a little while.

Try a good anti-spyware program. You might be scratching your head wondering how to find a good one. There are so many options out there. First, you have to figure out which programs are real. Then you have to find a program that is known for getting rid of problems such as WinComm on the first try. There are some programs that stand behind a 24 hour removal guarantee. If you can find an anti-spyware program that is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, go with that.

Avoid FakeSpyGuard Like the Plague

Have you ever had a problem with spyware? If you spend any amount of time on the computer, then there is at least a pretty good chance that the answer to this question is yes. This is largely a function of the fact that spyware is a common problem for computer users. And just as big of a problem as the spyware itself are some of the alleged remedies for spyware. For instance, software such as FakeSpyGuard claims to have the capacity to eliminate the spyware problem from a system. However, those who are unfortunate enough to purchase FakeSpyGuard quickly discover that they have been scammed.

Because spyware is such an enormous problem, it is helpful for computer users to have a basic understanding of what it is. Spyware is a form of a computer virus which can infect your system and cause a whole host of problems, ranging from minor to more severe in nature. At one end of the spectrum, spyware causes a computer system to operate slowly. As we all know, there is little which is more irritating than waiting for a slow computer. And not only does the computer run slowly, but it has a tendency to freeze up. Moreover, a computer infected with spyware will most likely be bombarded with pop ups. In many instances, infected systems will display pop ups several times a minute.

While these are undoubtedly irritating in and of themselves, these symptoms are by no means as severe as the worst ramifications of having an infected system. In a worst-case scenario, spyware can be used to steal identities. Some hackers use spyware to follow your every move on the computer, stealing passwords, credit card numbers and other personal information along the way. Once the spyware has gathered your personal information, hackers are very close to stealing your identity.

So let us say that you are noticing these symptoms on your computer. What do you do if your computer begins acting as if it is infected with spyware -- running slowly, bombarding you with pop ups, and freezing up on unwanted pages? If you are like many people, you will begin to panic once you realize your computer has been infiltrated. And there is some justification to reacting this way because as you now know, spyware is sometimes used by identity thieves. However, despite the urgency to remove spyware from your system, do not fall prey to predators posing as anti-spyware.

To illustrate what not to do, take this example of what could happen. Your system could become infected by spyware, after which time you begin receiving pop up after pop up informing you of a great way to remove the problem -- TrojanWin32FakeSpyGuard. But you need to know that Trojan.Win32.FakeSpyGuard is merely a scam. It does nothing to actually remove the spyware from your system. If you want a real solution you need to use something that is tried and proven to be effective. The only software which is guaranteed to work is Spyzooka. Spyzooka is the greatest anti-spyware out there, and you can learn more at http://www.spyzooka.com/spyware-removal-guarantee.htm.

I Killed Themeadp with SpyZooka

Man, it’s true that you get what you pay for on the Internet. Sometimes, you wind up with more than what you paid for, and that’s not a good thing. I’m talking about the adware called Themeadp.

I caught Themeadp by downloading a freeware program. Apparently, it came with it…I can imagine it being like a stowaway on a freight liner or something. Man, I knew something was there once it got on my computer, though!

The first thing that happened is that my browser (Firefox) blinked out. Or maybe my computer started acting funny…I’m not too sure. After that, Themeadp started throwing out the pop ups.

Themeadp pop ups are different than others I’ve seen. They’re in Chinese or Japanese. Whatever it was they were talking about, it didn’t seem to be anything I was interested in.

I thought maybe I could stop this stuff that Themeadp was doing by restarting my computer. You wouldn’t believe how terrifying that was! I was getting error messages, and it rebooted by itself once. Finally, it got started up again.

I figured that what I had was some kind of adware or spyware. I had a trial version of a popular antispyware, so I ran it. It found it well enough, I saw “Themeadp” on the results page. The problem was my trial version had expired.

The program was for like $100, so I thought I’d see if there was something cheaper to kill Themeadp. At first I used the infected computer, and I got frustrated by the browser constantly crashing. I decided to check it out on my laptop.

I didn’t want to pay $100 to kill Themeadp, but I didn’t want to sacrifice quality for it either. Eventually, I just quit looking at reviews and decided to punch in 100% spyware removal guarantee. SpyZooka was the only program that had it, and it was only $30.

SpyZooka was amazing! It found Themeadp within a couple of minutes, and killed it even quicker. It’s faster than the more expensive program and it works!

Lefeats is Your Invisible Foe

I can’t stand spyware. Any form that it takes literally makes me irate if I get infected with it. But thankfully, I don’t get infected with programs like Iefeats anymore. I finally have the kind of protection that I have always been searching for.

Once upon a time, I could have been infected with Iefeats, but I am glad that I can’t be now. Lefeats is a type of adware program. That kind of spyware is some of my least favorite simply because they are extremely annoying to me. Many people have agreed with that opinion as well.

Adware like Iefeats will change the infected user’s home page. This just isn’t acceptable because a person’s home page is like their virtual home away from home. Instead, Iefeats changes that home into some sort of advertisement ploy. Lefeats will also alter your search results to once again play into its favor for its little advertisement game.

The most annoying feature of Iefeats, in my opinion, is that it delivers pop up ads over and over again. I hate clicking them shut and being distracted from whatever it is I may be doing at the time.

While Iefeats may be annoying, it is also dangerous. Not only does it connect itself to the Internet and slow down your Internet connection, but Iefeats also downloads more spyware onto your computer! This means that you could get even more pop up ads and possibly be in danger of having your private information stolen; information like your passwords or credit card numbers.

But I don’t have to worry about Iefeats anymore because I have the ultimate protection against spyware. I now have SpyZooka protecting me from threats like Iefeats. I bought SpyZooka because I was impressed with how they work. They have a robot that hunts down new forms of spyware and give daily updates on what has been found. Plus, SpyZooka is the only anti-spyware program that has a 100% spyware removal guarantee. They have followed through with that guarantee, and now I don’t get upset about spyware anymore.

There is Good and Bad in GeoWhere Search Adware

GeoWhere Search has two purposes, and there is good and bad in GeoWhere Search Adware. The good? It is a program containing a number of useful tools that can make it easier to surf the 'Net. As a desktop search engine, GeoSearch sends inquiries to multiple search engines and you receive the results of these inquires. This saves you the time of having to go to each of these sites and retype your keywords.

Now for the bad. Since GeoWhere is a free download, it becomes an easy target for developers to add malicious code to this software. When this occurs, GeoWhere turns to bad when it starts to deliver multiple pop-ups on your desktop.

This is not the only way adware can reach your computer; it can also be silently downloaded from websites and installed even without your knowledge. Since so many adware programs do not leave any trace once it is installed, you may not know that it’s there until you start having strange mishaps.

This type of adware is virtually impossible to find because there are no visible icons. It does not show up in the Start Menu, and you cannot even find it in the task list or system tray. Adware rarely provides you with instructions to uninstall the software, and when it does, the instructions are usually bogus and do not completely remove all of the software.

If your computer is infected you want to make sure that you remove any unwanted adware immediately. The only proven way to remove malicious adware is to purchase and run a good spyware removal program. There are some free programs on the market that work pretty well, but they just don’t have the technology to remove adware 100%. You can fool around with these and risk spyware returning, or you can invest in a spyware removal program that will guarantee 100% removal of all spyware, malware, adware, and other potential threats.

Xupiter Is A Big Spyware Problem

I am absolutely amazed that Xupiter has stood the test of time. This toolbar was once linked to the infamous father/son duo Saeid and Daniel Yomtobian. Daniel claimed to cease and desist the Xupiter tool bar in July of 2006 after a series of charges concerning spamming. However, it's here to stay and can be linked to origins in Hungary at this point in time.

Xupiter is a browser hijacker. It redirects you to a search engine such as browserwise.com, sqwire.com, and orbitexplorer.com. Whatever you are searching will show the 3rd party affiliates of people who have chosen to use this toolbar as an aggressive form of marketing. In all likelihood, these are people you don't want to do business with.

I haven't seen any reports of serious damage to identity or bank accounts at this point. However, it is hard to track who is looking at this information or what is done with it. If you let the spyware go for too long, your chances of a system crash are good. To catch these browser hijackers before the problem gets bad, put your firewall on and pay attention to the warnings. A firewall does not offer you protection from the spyware, but it will warn you that you are at risk for an infection.

Recent reports show that Xupiter resurfaced in a peer to peer file sharing community called Grokster. If you picked up Xupiter, it is common to pick up a bunch of other things with it. You will never know what hit you. It downloads silently and quickly. Once it is there you can expect to receive a multitude of aggressive pop-ups including porn.

Xupiter is hard to manually remove because it is well hidden in your System Restore. You can't simply Add/Remove this one. Your best bet is to run a reputable anti-spyware program on a daily basis that offers a 24 hour removal guarantee.

Spyburner Burns You!

Spyburner is a rogue security tool that was released in February of 2008. It, along with the other rogue security tools, pretends to be a security program that happened to catch you getting infected. In the case of Spyburner, it implies that it protects you from spyware.

Spyburner can be transmitted from infected websites. These websites usually pretend to offer free or unlicensed video viewing. Once one of the video player icons is clicked, it downloads a Trojan Downloader pretending to be a video codec.

Once the Downloader is installed, it downloads Spyburner on your computer. This is how it bypasses security settings and gets around the manual installation necessary to download it.

Once that is done, Spyburner initiates the infection. You get a popup warning screen. You can also get redirected to their download page.

You will also get a scan from Spyburner, showing that your computer has a crippling spyware infection. This isn’t a real infection; it’s just a scare tactic.

Now that you’re good and scared, Spyburner will insist that you buy the full version of its program. They will imply that it is the only program that can clean up your so called infection.

Not only is the price tag for Spyburner steep, there are other problems that can arise after submitting your credit card information. First of all, the program you get is a junk program. Secondly, you could wind up with more spyware on your computer. Lastly, you could wind up with an even bigger problem: A depleted credit account!

Should you escape this shock and awe situation, your problems aren’t over. The same is true if you just try to remove the Spyburner program from your computer. You can frequently be re-infected every time you restart your system and get drawn back into the drama of the infection warnings and aggressive sales pitch.

If you get infected with Spyburner, it’s no lie that you need a new antispyware program. However, you don’t want Spyburner, or even just any antispyware program. Look for a 100% guarantee!

DSrch – Beware of this Adware

Today I would like to tell you about the new adware threat that is DSrch. Like any adware, it will force advertisements upon you. These advertisements take the annoying form of pop-ups and pop-unders on your desktop. You will also experience your Web browser settings being changed and your search results being redirected.

This is unfortunately not all that DSrch does. It also monitors your Web browsing habits and passes that information on to parent servers, which in turn decide which advertisements to flood you with. DSrch also opens up a hole in your computer’s security that other Trojans and malware can take advantage of.

That brings us to how DSrch gets on your computer. There is a Trojan called Vundo that makes its way onto your computer by pretending to be an ActiveX or video codec. The Vundo Trojan then downloads and installs malware and adware. In the case of Dsrch, some of the components pretend to be Internet Explorer plug-ins.

You will find that removing DSrch is not an easy matter. If you try to use "Add or Remove Programs," you will find on reboot that you did not remove Dsrch, as it will start up again after reboot. This is because the program is a rootkit. Rootkits are adware, spyware, and malware that dig into the registry, or root, of your operating system and take residence there.

You could try to remove DSrch manually, but there are problems with manually removing it as well for a couple reasons. The first reason is you have to go into Windows Registry Editor and remove the files one at a time. This is a problem because it is not only time consuming, but you can make your computer inoperable if you delete the wrong file. On top of those problems, if you miss a file while manually removing it, it will reinstall itself on boot up and all that time looking for and removing the files that compose the program will be wasted.

Conducent/Timesink Has Snuck Onto the Shelves

I don’t know how paranoid you are about spyware, but I am pretty paranoid. I once had the habit of checking my computer’s processes only on occasion to see if there was anything unusual there. Honestly, I still check them, but much more often than I used to. I would still have a laid-back attitude about checking the processes if it weren’t for Conducent/Timesink.

You see, I was infected with Conducent/Timesink adware, but I didn’t know it. I only found out that I was infected when I was looking at the processes that were running and I saw some unfamiliar ones called tsadbot.exe and tsuninstaller.exe. I did a little research online and found out that these processes belonged to an adware program called Conducent/Timesink.

I was shocked to find that I had been infected with Conducent/Timesink adware because I am so very careful about what I download off the Internet and which websites I visit. After digging around some more though, I found out that anyone can get infected by Conducent/Timesink. This is only possible because Conducent/Timesink is sometimes bundled with software that is sold in stores! Aren’t you shocked too?

I had recently bought and installed a new computer game just that day. I had never owned an anti-spyware program before, but after this new avenue of infection I figured that I had better remedy my lack of protection.

I began my hunt and soon found an amazing anti-spyware program that could handle my Conducent/Timesink problem and more. I was impressed by the several awards that they had won and I really liked the fact that they were members of the Better Business Bureau. Plus, I discovered that they actually have a robot that searches the Internet for new types of spyware so that their customers always have the best protection. But what really sold me on SpyZooka was the fact that they guarantee removal of 100% of spyware from the infected computer. As worried as I am about spyware stealing my personal information, it’s good to know that I have SpyZooka there to protect me.

BestOffersNetworks Just Can’t Be Trusted

I wish the laws were stricter regarding spyware and adware and other malicious software. Not only that, but I wish that they were enforced more too. Then, the creator’s of BestOffersNetworks spyware would be punished for harming so many people’s computers.

The BestOffersNetworks spyware is bad, to put it simply. It monitors your computer and steals your personal information. Trojans from BestOffersNetworks get into your computer and then install more spyware. The adware installed annoys the infected user and distracts from whatever it is he or she might be doing.

I think that the worst part about all of this, besides losing extremely sensitive personal information, is that all of the infections caused by BestOffersNetworks are an attempt to get you to use an anti-spyware program that they promote. So, not only are you lied to when you download BestOffersNetworks’ free programs such as their “smiley face” program, but they are also trying to use the harm they inflicted to get you to trust them. Sadly though, there are plenty of people out there who have bought into BestOffersNetworks’ lies.

What people need to do is get SpyZooka because it can completely destroy any harmful thing that BestOffersNetworks has to offer. It doesn’t matter whether or not you have been infected. If you have been infected, then SpyZooka will clean up your computer. If you haven’t, then SpyZooka will keep your computer clean and prevent any future intruders from doing damage.

SpyZooka is the only anti-spyware program available that will guarantee that your computer will have 100% of all spyware removed from it. This is exactly the kind of anti-spyware program that everyone needs because complete protection is the right amount of protection. SpyZooka even has a robot that continually searches the Internet for new types of spyware so that you will have the most up to date spyware protection available. If you are looking for better computer health, then get what you know you need. Get SpyZooka.
